It is very important to organize the book at the beginning of the year, so as not to miss anything which might cause, later, to have to renumber pages. First, look at past yearbooks to check if your list of things to be covered is complete; next, break up the number of pages in your contract into blocks, (sports, faculty, administration, portraits, academics, etc.); usually this will take a little time, since according to the importance you place on a particular section will affect how many pages you give it, which in turn will affect how many pages other sections get. Finally it is time to determine the flow of the book, which goes first, second, last. Of course double checking at each step is essential.
